Regulatory position
In 2023, FDA placed several popular peptides — including BPC-157 — in Category 2, citing safety concerns for compounding. In April 2026 the agency removed seven peptides from that list, and in July 2026 its Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee voted to recommend six of them for the compoundable list.
That recommendation is not yet law: formal rulemaking is pending, and until it finalizes, no 503A pharmacy may legally compound them. VendraRx will only offer compounds that are legally compoundable at the time of prescription.
